 OSTEOPAHTY

For the proper functioning and recovery of the body and the person, all tissues and systems in the body require a certain freedom of movement.

This mobility is not only necessary for the movement of man, but also for the movement of all cells, tissues, muscles and bones in relation to each other. This also applies to the internal organs (peristalsis, breathing, organ movements under the influence of breathing) and to the body fluids (blood, lymph, cerebrospinal fluid).

With osteopathic techniques the therapist 'reads/feels' the body and the movement possibilities of all these tissues and systems in the body, looking for the relationships with the complaint(s). Because all systems in the body need freedom to function, movement restrictions say a lot about the person's functioning.

  • Complaints related to organs: intestines, stomach, bladder, pelvic floor.

  • Complaints around the skull and face: jaw tension, headache, migraine, whiplash.

Mobility can be restored by this (soft) are a manual (with the hands) examination and treatment method. Which examines and treats the body as a whole, holistically. The techniques have an effect on the total functioning and the 'feeling in your body' and being able to feel relaxation.

Body and mind are one. A healthy and in balanced body has a direct effect on your mental well-being. You have more energy and feel emotionally more balanced.
